Good value, good location & good people

I regularly stay at the National when I am in London - rooms are always clean and good value, and the hotel is well located for the main train stations.

Staff are always friendly and helpful in this busy hotel. Today I’d like to praise Jannai on reception for how he helped with my request for a slightly late checkout tomorrow. He is a good example of the professionalism of the staff at the hotel.

If you are looking for a good value hotel in central London, then I’d recommend the National .

Accidents happen, but the response to them is important.

Everything was good-nice staff, good food and clean rooma overall, except that the room service took my shirt (probbly by accident) and it didn’t turn up, but yeah the staff was really reponsive and helpful anyway. Now I’m just trying to fill the world count:)

Very terrible experience

We checked in late near 11pm and there was no room to add extra bed for a 7 year old kid. The night manager didn’t solve the problem and satisfy us properly. We ended up only my kid and me slept in the hotel room and my husband had no where to sleep overnight. Even go to the room as a visitor to help us put all the luggage after 11pm and leave the hotel was forbidden!

A very happy short stay

On arrival, the reception staff were very welcoming and were efficient, attentive and responsive to any requests throughout my short stay. The hotel has a high standard of cleanliness and the domestic staff worked very hard to ensure that. The room was ample in size for my needs and the bed very comfortable. A well cooked breakfast with wide choice of items hot and cold further added to my very pleasurable stay. This hotel provides immaculately clean spacious accommodation with friendly efficient staff in all departments and is set in an ideal location convenient for shops, bars and transport links including the nearby tube station. I highly recommend this hotel and will be booking to stay regularly. Many thanks to all staff at The Royal National ☺
