This small and modest church tucked away from the bustle of the main streets is a must to learn a little about the formative history of England and life at the time of the crusades and roles the knights Templar had back then. The significance of the Magna Carta is also explained. I can recommend a visit to this church.

In order to get to the church we walked through pedestrian courtyards which felt as if we had gone back in time all was calm and very pretty. The church itself is beautiful you can not help but be moved by the stories on the walls and the beautiful stain glass windows.
It is very light in the church really just perfect.

London has a ton of sites which are fantastic, but some cost a lot of money and will make you question the value of the price. This church has a lot to offer its viewers, and it's in the middle of a quiet square. Plenty of people come in to visit, but it's not overcrowded by any means. The price is very inexpensive (I paid 3 GBP for a student ticket); you're not getting gypped, and the people who hand out information and collect your fee are friendly and excited to see visitors and to offer information. The church has an incredibly rich history, an exhibit, and a second level which allows you to look down on a part of the church. This is all included in your ticket price. Some remarkable tombs and really beautiful features inside!

Not only is this church beautiful, but t has a fascinating history, connecting the Knights Templar (I bet you've heard of them but don't know who or what they were) and the Magna Carta, the Charter of the Forrest (not sure I have that right) and the beginnings of English law
