Description: At Masala Zone Soho, we have a passion for making sure customers have an enjoyable time – delicious genuine Indian food, newly renovated exciting interiors and great staff. The restaurant is highly acclaimed. Evening Standard has rated us as one of London’s six best Indian restaurants, Zagat Restaurants Survey as London’s Most Popular Restaurant Group; Daily Telegraph as one of London’s best restaurants. We unusually combine a panoramic range of proper Indian food - pioneering street food, thalis (the balanced family platters), daily changing freshly made vegetables, flavourful grills, regional curries, biryanis. Our food is uniquely from the true sources of Indian food – the gourmet homes & street stalls across India’s regions.

we do love the bright trendy atmosphere with a modern indian design.
begin with cheese nan with an excellent IPA then you can choose thalis (platter) half size or full portion different currys with rice and vegetables. Certain dishes are very spicy.
Many young modern and fashionable Indians that is a quality proof even if The purists of the Indian gourmet cuisine can found the cooking a bit too much internationalized.
great value for money in London.
Jubilant moment

Lovely place set in the back of Soho and it's halal. Order a grand Thali enough for two ...chicken Mangalore the spicy one mmmm.
Drinks a tad expensive but then always are that's how they make their money.
Just tell them to put no service charge on and say you prefer giving tip on your discretion save yourself from £3 to £18 depending how many go and eat.
Anyway been going here for a few years and this one has got good decor and staff are nice as of July 2018 ..so if you reading this review few months or years on can't account.
Do try it as one of the better tasting authentic halal places in London.
My 12 yr old daughter loves it and she is to become a blogger. Lol.

Decent dinner in this large restaurant. At least we didn't have issues getting a table in on that crowded friday evening. We followed our (french) guide, which explains why so many french were having dinner there. Food was average, You can find much better in London

This place looks very good, nice atmosphere and a lot of people. Service was good with a nice waitres, but the food varied in quality. The most disappointing was Rogan Josh who reminded me more about diluted soup than a rich sauce - but a little plus for the meat that was tender. Would not recommend Rogan Josh here, but the other dishes were good.

we visited this place before and on this occasion we popped in after shopping. Helpful and smiling staff, as usual delicious food and very good service. The only negative was to do with a group of 9 at the large table at the lower floor, under the large ceiling lights. Two of the females members of the group appeared to have no table manners and no consideration for other diners or the establishment. Talking and laughing very loudly so that the whole are was echoing with their high pitch voices. Very off-putting. I feel that the management could and should approach such people with polite caution to remind them that there are other diners around, who might not wish to share their boisterous jokes and tolerate such unnecessary commotion.
