We visited Cafe Rouge immediately upon arriving in London, and were very impressed with the breakfast- a tenner gets you fed, plus tea/coffee and fruit juice. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It had some good veggie options too. Would definitely go back!

This must be the worst of the Cafe Rouges I have visited. Service was extremely slow and the food were just horrible.
Smoked Cod and Cassoulet - Cod overcooked to the extreme and very dry. Sorry guys, but baked beans with extra tomatosauce is not a Cassoulet, and adding some butterbeans does not make it better. The greens, green beans and broccoli was plentiful but undercooked - still best part of the plate.
Mussels Marinière - pot full of mussels but some of the smallest ever seen. Couldnt taste any wine, shallots or herbs in there, just watery cream.
Rouge Burger - meat was good, even if slightly overcooked. Best meal of table.
Usually you always get a decent meal at a Cafe Rouge, but stay away from this disaster.

Our family had a late dinner after flying into London. We were very happy with the service, especially from our waitress Fran. The food was enjoyable.

The place is not suitable for tourists. While being dressed in the outdoor outfits, we were given an indication that we are underdressed to enjoy the place to the fullest. Very rude staff.

We visited with two young kids. We were all made very welcome by the attentive staff. The food was very good and excellent value for money. I encountered a slight 'hiccup' with my starter which was very quickly remedied and resulted in a hefty discount from the manager. All in all an excellent dining experience. Thank you.
