We signed up for a private guided tour of this amazing place and learned so much...some 3,000 people are buried here! Go right when it opens in the morning to beat the crowds.

It was a long wait in the drizzle, but we did enjoy the history of this place. The audio tour helped a lot and we will do a guided tour next time.

We waited in line for over 1 1/2 hours on a Monday morning to get in and the place was so crowded it was hard not to lose each other. Other than the crowds it is a fascinating place. I particularly enjoyed the tombs of kings and queens and other royalty. We were here for over an hour. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Our first day in London and we headed to Westminster Abbey. It was a Sunday morning around 9:40. We realized there was a Matins service at 10 and they welcomed guests so we went in. I was amazed by the hospitality toward tourists. Very welcoming! My husband and I were thrilled to worship at the Abbey!
