As one would expect, the National Gallery is home to a very impressive collection of art works. The spacious gallery is centrally located and the catalogue reads like a who’s who from the art world. Highly recommended.

It's a good place for a rainy day wander around. OK if you're into your art then you'll take it a bit more seriously but anyone will get a buzz from just taking a stroll around the galleries.

It can be repetitive. After you've seen a crown, the other twenty look the same. Same goes for armours. You walk mile inside the impressive castle, looking at original king's and queen's belongings, which is impressive at first but at some point you get the idea and start looking for the exit.
