Took our 8 year old daughter here who if I’m
Honest lost interest quite quickly but it is ok to kill time on a rainy day

Got there at 10:30. Long queue to get in. This started at the V&A all the way to the front door and it was raining so out there without any cover. A place like this should have at the very least a poly-tunnel walkway. We got inside to be met with the Blue whale bone structure hung from the ceiling. Not as big as I had hoped to see(bring back DINO) It was to high up to look at from the hall floor, had to go up lots of stairs to get a sort of eye level view. As it was a Saturday lots of families with kids running amok. Lots of clear tubes asking for at least a £5 donation (maybe this is for a covered walk way. Hope so). Went for a cuppa into the first place inside. only 6 tables taken out of 20/30. The young girl told us that that they only served food and we could not come in just for a drink. I said the place was empty and we would be back latter for lunch but still no. Told her we would not be back so lost custom. Got a tea at another self service place where you had to play sardines as it was rammed. We spent 4 hours in there and then went up the road for lunch.

Really. Collection is amaizing. Building is amaizing. Dinosaurs is amaizing. Best London experience with your kids.

Made us wait for hours, after queuing the agents asked us to start queuing somewhere else where the queue was at least twice longer. Very poor service.

If you travel with kids, it's a must, but if not, it is still definitely worth a visit. Lost of stuffed animals from beetles to rhinos and amazing moving, interactive exhibition of dinosaurs, volcanoes, earthquakes etc. There is actually a live simulation of an earthquake!
