We were excited to visit Florians. People had mentioned it was a re-opening of an old, local favourite. However, when we arrived we were not greeted by anyone despite the restaurant being far from full with plenty of staff (including Florian himself who was chatting to customers). We waited for about 10 minutes (we were in a good mood and eager to try!) but were not once acknowledged by anyone. We got the impression that as newer Crouch Enders (we've only lived here for 3 years), we were cast aside. Perhaps a little sensitive, but all we needed was a quick 'hello'!
Didn't want to leave a low score as it wouldn't be fair without trying the food but, in all honesty, I don't think we will be.
