Wandered into the restaurant because it was near our hotel and we were glad we did. The food was delicious and the waiter was very attentive. Try the chicken liver parfait for a starter...it was scrumptious!

My wife and I had dinner here. She had Breton chicken and I had beef burgundy. Both meals were good and well priced. We will return!

This (now sizeable) chain have the ability to keep standards high at all their outlets. There are some that are slightly better than others - this is one of the best.
Well cooked high quality food, very good service - and all at a low price.
We had the pre-theatre menu before a visit to the Albert Hall.
In this expensive area of London Cote's prices seem ridiculously low.

Once again we had the pleasure of dining in the cosy little place, tucked away from the Main Street in Kensington and, again, yet another fantastic dining experience. This is our fourth visit and our guest numbers have increased from six, through ten then fourteen and finally, this year, twenty of us..such is the popularity of this restaurant..!! We always pre-order our selections in plenty of time by e-mail in the weeks prior to the event. This ensures the staff are aware of our arrival time and everything flows from there. Initially eighteen of us but with less than 24 hours notice, we managed to squeeze another two in, which the staff did easily.

Once again, the food was spot on. A huge variety of choices were made which made the other diners in our party glance over and “wish they’d ordered that”..!!

Service was quick and without mistake. It was amusing for all at the pronunciation of some of our names by the staff, not their fault of course, but ensured laughs all round..!!

Food, well, what can I say? Excellent, plentiful, tasty - these words simply don’t do it justice. Every course was very well presented and the chefs did a fantastic job. The steak ordered by one of our guests was “the best I’ve ever had”, the Tuna Nicoaisse (spelleng?) that I had was the highlight for me, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The salad with it was more than adequate.

Service - always with a smile and a laugh. The staff are, quite simply, superb: very caring to ensure we all had everything we wanted. Extra water was delivered frequently and drinks catered for.

Service charge: the policy is to add 12.5% to your bill, but this can be removed on request. We had ours removed as we felt that the amount the staff would receive in tips would not be suffice for the service we had. Instead, we chose to give them £10 per couple which realised a tip of £100 for them all....and they deserved it.

Summary - as mentioned, this was our fourth time here and we have never been disappointed nor had any cause for concern. Suzzanah and her team coped very professionally in a very busy place (Saturday evening) and dealt with us perfectly.

Will we return....most definately next year - it’s a yearly thing for us, prior to attending the Albert Hall which is within walking distance...about 15 to 20 minutes away. The restaurant is situated down a side street away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street traffic and noise.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

PS. The ratings system below isn’t working on my I-pad but please be assured, it’s the highest mark possible in every category.
