I am Sicilian and was very excited to bring my loved one to this newly opened place near the British Museum, the menu online looked very nice and the place had nice reviews. We went there and the waiter brough some homemade bread olive oil and olives, this was the only nice food we had. We ordered some fried calamari and pane cunzatu, the calamari were not fresh and were soaked in fried oil on the top of a salad that was not nice either. The pane cunzatu was just warm bread topped with mushroom parma ham and cheese. We found a piece of plastic in the food. The food was tasteless and expensive. in Sicily the food is amazing, even having just tomatoes and cheese they are so juicy and sweet... so I was very disapponted by the food and I left without ordering desert or coffees. I would not recommend this place to people that wand to eat typical Sicilian food

Cute little traditional pizzeria. You can try the normal pizza but the pane cunzato is absolutely amazing! Go for the one with tuna and tomato. Service is great and super friendly. A go to spot!

The restaurant b is very nice and cosy, the Italian waiter, slim, dark hair, speaks Spanish too, is very nice and professional.
I think we had the wrong food, we took stuffed bread with crudo. Compare to the open version seen on other tables is not worthy 12.00. There was only one side of crudo and it tasted dry. Definitely I will go for the other version .
Parmigiana was good. Not very warm and a bit salty.
A bit overpriced but I will recommend you to try anyway.

I love Sicilian food, but had never tried the so-called pane cunzato: well, I found the right place to do it! But this restaurant is much more than pane cunzato: pizza is of a very good standard, and focaccia and schiacciata are amazing! Staff is very nice and welcoming, prices absolutely reasonable. Highly recommended!

We have been in London since this morning and we fancied to go somewhere new......Terrible choice! We started with Pane Cunzato(see picture) and then it all went wrong!Involtini was a kebab with balsamic vinegar!Verdure Grigliate was a pile of eggplant with raw onions!
Do not go there as also the price was terrible!

Dear Sir, we thank you for your review. We are sorry that the lunch was not to your liking. Fix it now is difficult, what I can do is explain what you ate, since your description does not seem that you have been in our restaurant. In our menu we do not have kebabs but meat rolls. It is a typical dish of southern Italy, specifically of the eastern part of Sicily and consists of veal breaded with breadcrumbs and wrapped in small rolls filled with cheese. Once cooked, a reduction of balsamic vinegar is put on top. As for the eggplant stack, in fact this side dish is called vegetable millefeuille: it is grilled vegetables (peppers, courgettes, aubergines and onion slices) seasoned with salt, oil, garlic and oregano that are served with this characteristic presentation that is, stacked in such a way as to form a millefeuille.
This answer is necessary because it is right to make it clear to those who will read his review that sometimes the disappointment that is felt when we are faced with a new dish comes from the fact that perhaps we know little of that culinary culture. It would be right to be advised a little more by the dining room staff who also has the task of transmitting the values and traditions that the restaurant sets out to convey to its customers.
With best regards,
