Description: A new concept drawing on the same philosophy of creativity as the Cinnamon Club's original restaurant, Cinnamon Kitchen offers innovative and modern Indian cuisine in a relaxed setting. Sympathetically designed in the heart of the City of London, various original features of the building have been respectfully retained from its decades of use as a warehouse. In contrast, the new design elements of Cinnamon Kitchen's interior incorporate a captivating blend of textures and lighting. Inspired by the typical geometric patterns that can commonly be found in historical Indian architecture and the tactile feel of traditional Indian materials, Cinnamon Kitchen presents a unique decor in which to experience contemporary Indian food. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, you can also enjoy spiced cocktails and grazing platters in the Anise bar.

Visited here on Saturday evening for a friends birthday as a group of about 10. My expectations were low as many Indian restaurants in the City are overpriced and overrated. We had the set menu which was limited in choice but I was pleased with my choices, the indo-chinese chicken to start and chicken leg main. A decent portion size, the flavours were excellent, not too spicy, and cooked well. The berry mocktail was also nice. Good at £24.

Service was mixed, at points they could have been more attentive but one waitress in particular was very friendly with our group and went out of her way, the others seemed a bit inexperienced.

Great location in the heart of the City but it has a very relaxed atmosphere. We sat outside on the terrace.

I would definitely visit again

We dined at Cinnamon Kitchen in a party of 4 with a "Buy A Gift" voucher that entitled us to a free "cocktail" and three course meal!

Straight away we were made to feel the less important diners sat there due to being on the Buy A Gift menu. Not seen to for 15 minutes and had to ask for menu's, Not told what was included had too ask if side dishes were included, Was answered a blunt "no".
After asking if it was OK to have our free cocktail a luke warm prosecco and rasberry juice was bought out / slammed in front of us!

When we did manage to flag a waitress down to take our order she wasn't authorised to and therefore had to ask another waitress to. She rolled her eyes and stomped over to our table with her pad and said "Yes?" when we started to order our sides then bluntly corrected us that we did not need sides! Contridicting what her collegue said!

The food was presented well! Tasted great but the ambience was dull! No music, no atmosphere considering we were in the City of London on a Sunny saturday afternoon!

We didn't waste our time sitting around too much as there was no atmosphere to soak up or enjoy just a bad attitude whilst the full paying customers got smiles and please and thank you's!

When the bill did come out it had the full price of the meal which we had to get changed as were only meer "Buy A Gifters"

In short, if you don't want the cheap skates in your precious restaurant then don't offer cheap deals on gift experience web sites!

Wouldn't dine here again if i was paid id rather stay in the happier lower budget indian restaurants!

I love their big sister restaurant, Cinnamon Club. This outpost was expected to offer more relaxed, better value dining. However, it was uninspiring on a Thursday evening after work. The service was lacking - we had to pour our own wine and the staff seemed disinterested in a not very crowded restaurant. The food was tasty but was much more expensive than what I consider its peer group in London. For a curry night out, I think Dishoom offers better value and ambience. For these prices, one might as well go whole hog at the cinnamon club. Cinnamon kitchen not worth a trip out of the way.
