It was a last minute over night stay my daughters had treated my husband and I to a spa experience with two treatments, I telephoned to see there availability and were very helpful booking our treatments which gave us plenty of time to arrive at the hotel. On the way to the hotel the lady from the spa telephoned to say our deal was for two treatments not one which was a lovely surprise we opted for back massage and facial we felt very relaxed after the treatments.The room we stayed in was a superior room with large jacuzzi bath which was lovely the view from the room overlooked the docks, the bed was very comfy and the room was very clean. The room supplied us with two double beds(we chose the one with a lovely view) clean towels, tea and coffee and prosecco plenty of pillows, shampoo and body wash. We had a brilliant deal to have an evening meal and breakfast which was lovely. The menu was al a carte for the evening meal which was presented nicely. There was no wait for receiving our meals which was nice. Breakfast was “help you self” which is what we prefer. Fresh fruits, yoghurts, cereal and hot food was available. Waitress’ circled the restaurant refilling tea and coffee. I drink peppermint tea and asked if they had any available and the waitress happily helped me out which i really appreciated. I would definitely recommend to stay at 30 James street and will stay there again.

Room Tip: No tips to improve the room!

Stayed here the end of March for one night great location for docks and shops. Issue with room sorted quickly and couldn’t fault the second room. Breakfast was top notch. Staff friendly. Would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again.

Great hotel, we had really noisy neighbours I no sooner put down the phone to reception and I heard the manager/ security nocking on their door. Room was clean tidy and decor was lovely thank you, will stay again

Had a mini weekend break at 30 James Street Liverpool, great location close to all shops and bars and restaurants rooms spacious and decor fantastic, staff very friendly hotel manager even walked us to the restaurant area by foot, you don’t get that too often will definitely be back

We wished to celebrate a special wedding anniversary and couldn't have picked anywhere better than 30 James St. On arrival there was a slight delay in our room being ready however we were given vouchers for complementary drinks in the Carpathia bar. Our room was the White Star Suite and it was brilliant. We enjoyed a lovely glass or 2 of bubbly in the hot tub. The room decor is baroque and rather wonderful. The beds so comfortable too. We ate at the Carpathia Restaurant and loved it. Service was prompt, and efficient. Stefan, our waiter was helpful and attentive. We had a perfect anniversary evening, we couldn't have enjoyed it any more!
Breakfast the following morning lived well up to expectation, a wide choice of nicely cooked foods as well as fruits, yoghurts and baked goods catered to all tastes.
I'm so happy that we chose 30 Janes St for our special celebration, and send a huge thanks for to all the staff whose efforts impressed us so much.
