My wife and I have just enjoyed an excellent 3 night stay at this hotel. For those not wanting to stay in the heart of Liverpool. its location meant that we were able to leave the car in the free Hotel Car park and walk the 10 minutes to the local train Station where there were frequent trains into the City Centre and the Albert Dock. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a view overlooking the gardens and the estuary.
The staff were very helpful and our package which we booked directly with the hotel included a 2 course evening meal which was superb and brilliantly presented and represented exceptional value for money . Thoroughly recommended

A great location. Peaceful, close to the station for trip into central Liverpool and a nearby beach with the Gormley Iron Men statues. An interesting history attached to the hotel.

Our first stay, but not our first visit. Set in a road with beautiful, old seaside villas. We booked through the hotel’s website, which was cheaper than booking through other accommodation sites. Worth checking before booking. We received a very warm welcome. We arrived early on our first day so that we could leave the car in the hotel’s car park, before taking the short walk to Waterloo station, for an inexpensive trip into Liverpool.

Room was spacious, with a four poster bed and a very modern en suite. All spotless and the room was very comfortable. Slept very well. Rooms at the front look towards the marine lake and dunes, and have good size, opening windows.Toiletries and the beverage tray were replenished daily. Breakfasts are excellent. There is a very wide choice of delicious cooked options and the portions are very generous. Serve yourself to fresh fruit salad, cereals, juice, croissants ets, then waiter service with hot options, which are all cooked to order, and served on lovely hot plates, so food stays hot. Very impressed! We also ate in the bar one evening and thoroughly enjoyed are meal.

All the staff were lovely, providing friendly, efficient service. Plenty of staff on duty too. We will certainly stay here again in the future.

Room tip: Rooms at the front have views across the marina lake and coast.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Only 15 min walk to Antony Gormley statues in the sands. A quiet area overlooking Victoria gardens. The hotel has its own car park but plenty of parking on side of road. Our room (Wellington Room - no 13!!) Modern, looks recently renovated and a four poster bed. Spacious and well equipped with hair drier, complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, iron, ironing board and safe. The lounge bar is lovely and serves lovely bar food - popular with locals (which is a good sign). The restaurant is excellent - we had the early bird 2 course meal for £12.95 (served 5 -7 pm) - excellent value. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is also excellent with a good range of choices. We used the hotel as a base for Liverpool, we had a taxi into Liverpool as we didn't want to drive in. Crosby is a good geo cache area (found 2). All our meals were wonderful. The hotels history was well worth a read in the menu pamphlet.
The rooms are on floor 1 &2 - no lift. There is I believe 1 room off the car park for visitors with mobility problems (has a disabled parking spot just in front of the room)- but ramped access is available from the car park into the main foyer and lounge bar and restaurant. Would we come again - yes we can would x

A standard three star hotel, no particular fripperies, but you get more of a feel of being in a hotel than if you went to a Travelodge or equivalent. It's got a bar which serves reasonable pub grub and a restaurant with more upmarket food. There's generous parking and it's reasonably close to the beach. Good no-nonsense wifi (makes such a difference!).
