Lots going on in this area of Lincoln. Places to eat, drink, and sit outside watching the small boats and barges go by. Walks along the canal edge and canal trips.

Good modern redevelopment of the former wharf area. Pedestrianised but light traffic to the 2 big hotel at the far end. Lots of restaurants, bars, multi-screen cinema, clubs, riverside views across to the modern university area. Easy walking to shops and car parking. Great for sunlazing, eating or the night life.

Virtually every building is a franchised restaurant, so has nothing original or interesting. However, it does provide facilities for eating outside, away from the busy roads and the view across the quay is pleasant enough.

In recent years Lincoln has undergone a wholesale makeover. Bradford Wharf (Pool) has become a centre for a vast array of food and drink outlets. Wagamama, Prezzo, Wetherspoons to name just a few. If you can’t find something good to eat here, you are hard to satisfy.

As others have said already, this is a lovely place to come and walk along the river, look at the marina and the University buildings on the other side, have lunch in one of the chain restaurants. Shame there aren't more independent restaurants here but it's lovely nonetheless.
