Very lovely friendly staff, extremely clean around entrance, room very clean, large shower, sofa a little on the hard side but was fine for a few minutes. Liked the fact they had 2 different types of pillow, good selection of TV channels and free wifi throughout. Breakfast was lovely and had a great selection of food and drink. Would definitely visit again.

Sofa bed really hard. Shower dribbled out. Double bed hard. Good location. Breakfast area mucky had to ask for table to be wiped. Positive is the central location. For the budget hotels Premier inn do it much better. Lincoln a lovely city .................

Dear DrambuieKing,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your recent experience with us. We are delighted to read that you found our location commendable. However, we regret to know that firmness of our beds did not live up to your expectations. We also apologize that we were not able to deliver a good breakfast and shower experience. Rest assured this will be shared with our management to help us improve further and for us to be able to continue to serve you better.

Again, thank you for your valued feedback and hope to get another chance to give you a better experience on your next visit to Lincoln City.

Sincerely,

Christian C.

The hotel is situated in a retail park area of Lincoln but within easy walking distance of restaurants and the historic part of Lincoln.
Parking is available at the hotel at a cost of £5 for 24 hours although street parking is possible nearby.
The hotel lives up to the usual Holiday Inn Express standards with good sized clean bedrooms, an easy chair (a feature that is missing in some rival hotel chains) and good free wifi.
The staff are friendly and a problem that I experienced with the bed was very quickly and efficiently sorted.
Breakfast is included and, although the cooked food is somewhat lacking in variety, is generally very good.

The one thing you first notice about this hotel is how welcoming and friendly the staff are. The rooms are basically clean and big enough to sit and relax, hang your clothes and get a good nights sleep. The bathroom has a shower not bad but the water warmth can change a little whilst showering even out of peak time for people getting ready. Breakfast is a buffet style where you help yourself to cereals fruit toast drinks or hot food scrambled eggs and sausages, plus yogurts, muffins and croissants. Location is perfect for shops, nightlife and links to the town.

Room Tip: If you like the window open at night ask for a non roadside room.
