Our family traveled to England in March with plans to stay in Leicestershire for three nights. Our group included four adults and a toddler and when we arrived we found the cottage had plenty of space for us. Two full bathrooms and ample living space downstairs made for a very comfortable stay. We especially liked the sunroom and the living room with the fireplace. The modern amenities (flatscreen TVs, wi fi, washer/dryer combo) also exceeded our expectations. The Kingfisher Cottage was in a truly picturesque location on a canal and its interior decor and finishes carried the feel of the English countryside. This was my parent's first trip to England and staying at this cottage really enhanced the experience. Many thanks to David the owner and his good friend Jim who manages the property on his behalf for making our stay a great one!
Liked best:
The layout of the cottage and its decor
Liked least:
Parking was tight; however this was hardly an issue as parking comes at premium in England and we were glad to have a space.
