Don’t really know where to start, food was awful bland and definitely not worth paying for to make the trip worst the staff decided to have drinks next to our table, one female member of staff thought she was at home took her shoes off and put them up on her chair! She also thought it was a good idea to eat her food not sitting at a table and like she was lounging infront of the telly at home! To make matters worst the MANAGER was busy taking selfies with them instead of being professional and remembering some of us came to have a meal which I have to mention you ha e to pay for first!
The staff on the food section was just as rude trying to get a bowl was such a hard task for them we didn’t end up even getting one! The chocolate and cake station was a disgusting and the amount of staff there I’m sure it wouldn’t of been hard for one of them to clean it up!
My children didn’t eat much and being kids they normally demolish everything and to be frank I think they felt a little intimidated.
Noone checked if everything was ok but made it very noticeable they wanted us out and to finish. Farm animals could of run it better worst management EVER!!!
Only good thing was the free parking!

We’ve visited on 3 occasions and each time we’ve been on our 2nd/3rd plate of food before they’ve brought our drinks even though they were ordered as soon as we sat down! And it wasn’t even that busy!
Although they’re quick enough to take your plates.
Food is a bit hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Not changed quick enough when they’ve run out.
Deserts are good. Especially the ice cream.
Sadly due to the slow service, I doubt we’ll be returning.

Went for a family meal, heard others had a good experience here but they lied! It was a saturday night but the amount of kids running around with zero parental supervision was akin to some wacky warehouse! Kids unsupervised in the food area, handling food, one child picked up a spring roll, sniffed it and put it back. Another was taking handfuls of chips with a hand he'd been picking his nose with a few minutes earlier, it was disgusting. Yes they have a lot of choice and the canteen style was unusual but the sickness we all feel this morning leads us to think it was the most unhygenic and unsanitary place to eat. We sat in a booth of 6, the staff came trotting round asking for empty plates of those that had finished and leaned on the table over people stil eating with hand out. One 'oriental' looking woman just grunted and waved her hand at me to pass my plate, didnt even ask or speak!

The steaks were thin and rubbery, the duck was dry, the deserts were powdery and flavourless, clearly bought from the Brakes budget line of desserts. Everything was very salty, the steaks were only seasoned with salt, no pepper in sight. Nothing was above room temperature, unless it you saw it cooked and got it as they served it. The food sat in the pods were not hot and you had no idea how long theyd sat there. The best food item was the rolled turkey joint that you cut yourself, it was moist but unseasoned and left untouched by the great unwashed as it was probably too boring a food!

The floor was sticky, the table was sticky, it wasnt a nice experience. We were allowed 1hour 45 mins for our stay but we were out of there in 30 mins. After paying £17 per person when we walked in the door, it was a total rip off and not worth the money.

If you have a choice for a meal out, go to a hungry horse and save yourself some money and the food poisoning!

Recently visited Mr Basrai's for the time for awhile as i dont live in the area now and what a disappoint the place was very quiet compared to what it used to be like on a Friday evening and then realised why the standard of food has really gone downhill and nowhere good as it used to be so unfortunately won't be visiting again for along time

First time visit was a little hit and miss- customer service was great- Our server was Lauren who was a lovely polite young lady. We had issues with the warmth of the food, the plates were not hot and the air con was blowing on the food making it colder, Lauren promptly alerted the manager who then provided us with hot plates and then was seen afterwards checking the temperature of the food that we had complained about.

The youngsters in charge of drinks orders perhaps need more training, we were told they didn't do a particular type of beer but it was on the menu, then when cocktails came- they couldn't tell us which was the mocktail, when we asked what was in the Mr Basrai's surprise cocktail it was just that- a surprise- as nobody knew what was in it.

The food wasn't the best I have tasted but it certainly wasn't the worst.
