This hotel is in a perfect location 20 minutes walk from the rowdy town centre and all its pubs and clubs but still on the seafront.
We stayed in a king room and the bed was gigantic and very comfy. All linens and towels were very clean as was the rest of the room bar a few bits that had been overlooked (lights on bathroom walls filthy and cobwebs on ceilings). When booking on the Hilton website all the rooms boast having a fridge and ours did not. The shower was disappointing. Clean yes, but no more than a gentle dribble pressure wise . Unfortunately our television wasnt working properly either and the picture was extremely grainy on all channels plus the film selections (Tv problem rather than signal problem) but we weren't in the room enough for it to impact us.
The breakfast was amazing and the staff were extremely attentive throughout . Cold meats and cheeses a selection of breads ,fruits cereals and cooked breakfast items as well as items made to order such as omelettes and also had a pancake machine!
All in all it was a pleasant stay but unfortunately not up to usual Hilton standards - no wonder it ceases trading as a Hilton in a weeks time .

we stayed here for one night in April , i was looking forward to it as i have always wanted to stay in a Hilton hotel , dont think i will be eager to for a while , first impression are good , main areas are very nice and quite modern , but when we got to our room we , were quite shock at the state of it ,very old furniture and outdated decor with a musty smell .

Can't believe some of the negative reviews
Sounds like some of them stayed in a different hotel.
Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful few days.
All staff we found to be friendly and helpful nothing to much trouble, considering that their future hangs in the balance.
We found breakfast to be amazing everything that one could wish for and staff so friendly.
Thank you all the team I hope to return if standards remain the same.

Having stayed numerous times at this hotel over the years many things have changed either improving or, as many other revues comment on, declining. However the one constant, and in my book, the most important thing in any hospitality business has remained constant and that is the people who work there and their desire to help you have the best stay and experience e possible. Friendly, engaging and courteous nothing is too much trouble. Even when they have the uncertainty of their future hanging over them as Hilton withdraw from the hotel they continue to deliver excellent service. Will this be allowed, or even encouraged to continue by the new owners only time will tell. Always clean in both public and bedroom areas the hotel is getting tired in parts. The none refurbished bedrooms fall below the standard expected of a 4* hotel whereas the refurbished rooms are world's apart. Breakfast is one of the best around although pricey at £15 if not part of the room rate. Drinks in the large, relaxing bar are far from cheap but this is a Hilton, at least until 25th June 2018. I will be back after the change over, I hope nothing has deteriorated but I do worry this prominent Blackpool hotel may be allowed to fade away.
