Balmoral hotel is ideally located in the centre of the main strip with tram stops just across the road. Great selection for breakfast, good sized room, fantastic sea views. Good family atmosphere, very relaxed and friendly.

Let’s face it this is never going to be a five star Michelin hotel (it’s in Blackpool) but the whole experience was great. The staff were very friendly/helpful - couldn’t do enough for us. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and big enough. Hotel is well situated for either pleasure beach or tower, whichever takes your fancy! and the lights were still on.
Many thanks to staff and entertainers - given the chance we would definitely go back.

Stopped off for one night after being away for a break, Just needed somewhere to lay our heads, while we took in the sights of blackpool and the illuminations. Yes it is dated, some rooms small, but the shower worked. It was clean, the welcome friendly, even entertainment on in the evening. Central location so ideal for all sightseeing. We have stayed a few years ago in a hotel 2 doors down, and it was very similar. Ideal for any short break. Would return no problem. Must say Breakfast was very well presented and staff again very friendly. Did not have an evening meal as it was only one night, but we did have a soft drink and enjoyed the bingo and the singer, as we were moving next day we did not stay up too late, but it was great to have all this on site.
