“Lakes at Christmas”
Reviewed 29 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

What a pleasant suprise as we entered the property after our journey up from Shropshire to find a beautiful Christmas tree and various decorations to create a very welcoming feeling to a very well created apartment with luxuriously fitted accomodation the four of us. A spectacular view of the magical hills of the Lake District we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it without reservation.

“Awesome get away highly recommend it”
Reviewed 10 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

Four of us booked a pre xmas get away at The Conservatory. The place exceeds expectations in every way.

The views are exactly as pictured and simply breathtaking. Everything we could want in a home from home. Well furnished, clean, spacious and absolutely perfect as a base to explore Keswick and the local distillery!

We also experienced the local market which was an additional bonus. The Conservatory is great value for money and I can highly recommend it.

“The view of the Lake District is sublime”
Reviewed 11 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

I always thought this would be a good location, but I was not prepared for the stunning view from the apartment. One could go nowhere else in the Lakes but just sit and look at the view from the Conservatory.

“Excellent property and situation”

The Conservatory was spacious, comfortable and very well-equipped with more than all we wanted. It is located in a superb position with a stunning outlook to the south and lovely gardens and grounds to enjoy too.
Keswick is just a short drive away with its shops, eating places, Lakeside Theatre and other attractions and most parts of Lakeland can be easily reached by road on day trips out.
Highly recommended.

“Brilliant location, stunning views, and great facilities”

I booked this location around a month before I travelled. I read the various write ups on Trip Advisor before choosing it. It is an exceptional location on two floors. The ground floor comprises a kitchen / dining area in a conservatory with stunning views towards Catsbells. The second ground floor room is an extremely large lounge. There is also a toilet on this floor. Go down some stairs and there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed with ensuite in a very large space, there is also a dressing room with a cot in it as well. The second bedroom had twin beds with ensuite. There is also a utility room with washing facilities. The bedrooms are located in a pseudo basement, but each are lit by natural light through high windows. The owner has exceeded expectations with a wide range of videos in VHS & DVD format movies, books, CDs, games, large flat screen TV, various radios or speakers you can hook up to and even a telescope! I cannot praise this place enough. If you had bad weather in the Lake District and had to stay in your accommodation there is plenty to keep you busy without getting cabin fever.
