“Perfect location for us for a restful break”

The downstairs Mews cottage was in a lovely location for us in the small village of Braithwaite. Lorraine was extremely accommodating and helpful and we felt welcomed. The Mews cottage was clean and warm and comfortable in all aspects and we thought worth every penny. Centrally located in the lakes near to Keswick we found public transport easy to use to get to a wide range of locations. We really cannot give anything we didn,t like. We will definitely try to book again in the future. Once again many thanks to Lorraine.

We booked both cottages which are in the same building. This was ideal as we left the doors open and moved between the 2. Lovely accommodation, spacious, clean and well maintained. We took both our dogs. Quiet location, although the other cottages were also booked so quite busy. We has stayed her in 2013 in cottage 1, we liked the location so much we came back. The pub is in walking distance and there is a small village shop along with a small shop om the campsite located along the road from the cottages. The only down side was a hard mattress and headboard that creaks and hits the wall when you move!

“Great property and great location”
Reviewed 24 November 2015 for a stay in November 2015

The property was very well maintained, had loads of room and was really warm upon arrival during a really cold snap! Excellent location for us to visit Keswick, Buttermere and Ambleside, which were all really close. Nice meal at the Royal Oak pub nearby.
