Only stayed for one night but had a really nice time and would stay here again in the future. Lovely room and the breakfast was top notch. Top marks to Ronnie as he offered us drinks on arrival and gave us a warm welcome.

Ronnie was really friendly and helpful, suggesting a walk from the B&B as an opener, and recommending places for evening meals. Breakfast was really good. And the room was perfectly adequate. Sorry to hear that Ronnie is moving on in the near future. Good luck.

This is a great place to stay in Keswick while visiting the Lake District. Our family spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Host Ronnie gave us much useful information about the area, particularly about nearby hiking trails. Ronnie’s breakfasts were delicious and there was plenty of choice, from full English breakfast to vegan options. Our family is somewhat high maintenance in the dietary department, but Ronnie patiently adapted to our requirements. There are plenty of choices for people of all appetites.

I visited Brookfield for 4 nights with my mum for the mountain festival. Ronnie welcomed us with tea on arrival and gave us excellent advice for nearby walks, points of interest and where to eat and drink. Fab facilities and very comfy bed! We had an amazing time and even though we lost our key and had to wake him at 11pm Ronnie was a fantastic host. Can’t wait to visit again!

Visited last year for my son’s birthday and so good we went back this year at our sons request. Once again fab stay. Ronnie fab host, nothing too much trouble. Gave my son birthday card and present , went above and beyond. Best breakfast anywhere. Lovely walk into Keswick along the old railway line which takes about 20minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 2 which is family room.
