We had a week in this lovely cottage with our dog. We always go to the lakes around March time as it is normally sunny but still a little chilly, however this time there was a delge of snow. This did not dampen our break at all as after a day hiking with the dig getting cold and wet Wren cottage was warm, comfy and welcoming.
The size of the cottage is perfect for 2 + 1 dog, the living area is extremely spacious and easy to keep warm. The bedroom is surprisingly large and has more than ample wardrobe and storage space.
The walk along the lake into the town is just out of the door and has stunning views.
There are easily accessible walks from the cottage itself, both long and short. Due to the weather we had to spend more time in the cottage than we would have liked normally (having to come back earlier due to being wet) but the accommodation is what actually made this holiday even more relaxing

This small cottage (barn converted into three lets) is small but perfectly formed. The location is ideal for exploring the south and west of the Lake District. It has access to Coniston Water (about 5 mins walk away). It's dog friendly.
