Beautiful cottage with everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect for local amenities and for amazing walks - plenty of things to do nearby! What a brilliant place to spend our first Wedding Anniversary. Thank you Margaret!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our cottage. It is so unique to have a cottage which is so private but yet seconds from town centre. Would love to have you back again.

“Excellent location”
Reviewed 1 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Correspondence between me and the owner was ideal. I was reminded when payment was due and sent clear directions and instructions for entering the property.
The property itself was very clean and cosy. The owner has worked with the original structure to make the best use of natural light and maximise space.
The kitchen was great. I am a keen cook and brought my own kitchen knife but I need not have. Good set of knives and pots and pans. Also ample flat wear and glasses including champagne flutes. Bonus points for a good gas hob.
We were able to have friends over for dinner and cook a good meal in comfortable surroundings.
We had been left some extra touches including fresh bread from the local bakery, milk and juice, not to mention a bottle of wine which made our arrival even more special.
Location fabulous, minute or two walk from outdoor shops, great pubs and restaurants. Rescind express a few minutes walk up the road also.
We don't have a dog but appreciated the tennis balls and dog bowls in the cupboard would be great if we did.
The mezzanine bedroom area was lovely but the mattress was far too soft for our taste.
Would definitely come back here.
