I set off from Hartsdown aqua bootcamp on the hottest day of the year under the blazing midday sun. We arrived at Flavours by Kumar to be greeted as a long lost friend. everyone was given a free juice cocktail followed by another freebie, a delicious and prety spiced thingymabob. We ordered, I had chicken 65, the best chicken dish I've ever tasted, this was followed by another freebie, some spicy soup with a dumpling. My main course was kofta curry, rice and naan with a side of krkuri bhindi. At this point my partner gave up on me, but I persevered and had a pud. The service was excellent, the whole place had a friendly atmosphere. My mega lunch cost £12:95 and partners £10:95 amazing value for what we had. The DFL crowd would love it, don't tell them so there is still room for us yokels

Fabulous evening in a very busy new restaurant. Loved the booth seating. Excellent service, same high standard of food. We particularly enjoyed the beef and lamb curries, the mushroom soup, the fish Amritsar and the poached pear and chocolate samosa. Congratulations and well done. It would be sensible to have a separate Tripadvisor entry for each of the Margate and Ramsgate restaurants; there is different competition in both places.

I was keen to try this as it replaced the old monsoon restaurant in Garlinge. I came in person for a takeaway and works recommend phoning it in as the wait was quite long (and 15 mins longer than they said). We ordered Chicken Chettinand, Kadai chicken and a mixed vegetable curry. They made a mistake on the last one which I realised from the price they charged as they thought I wanted a side dish when I clearly said main. That was put right and to their credit they did not charge for the correction.

My main concern was that all three dishes apparently shared the same sauce, which was quite vinegary and sour. I would expect reach to have an individual flavour. Also, while the chicken pieces in the Kadai were of a decent size, those in the Chettinand were much smaller (though they were very tender).

All in all a rather mixed bag and not outstanding. Won't be going back for a while. I will give them time to settle in before trying then again.

We have visited Flavours by Kumar Ramsgate restaurant and was very impressed.
To hear the of the expansion to another restaurant in Garlinge was fantastic.

We booked a table and pleased we did as the restaurant when arriving at 7.30 was full. I would advise to book to avoid disappointment.

The restaurant has been is decorated very stylish and the seating arrangements work very well.

The most fantastic part of this restaurant is the food! Flavours flavours flavours.

The starter choices are brilliant so much to choose from.
The mains are delightful with something for everyone. The food is truly amazing and you can tell the passion of Anil Kumar shines through.

All I can advise is visit and experience the delicious food for yourself.

We wish you every success for your restaurant in Garlinge.

Thank Becky B
