Our three day weekend stay at the Castle House was fantastic.

We enjoyed everything about this amazing and historic bed and breakfast. The parking is free and very convenient. The morning breakfast is excellent and would be hard to beat any other bed and breakfast. The location is fantastic with a supermarket nearby and if you need it.....laundry service it is a five minute walk away. Of course Canterbury in itself is amazing...But Dover castle and the white cliffs are only a half hour away by car. And for us the Spitfire museum at Ramsgate was an essential stopover and easily achieved from this location.

We stayed in the suite which is number seven in their room directory. Plenty of room and all of the amenities that you would expect an upscale B and B.

Put the Castle House at the top of your list if you are in this area of Kent.

Room Tip: The suite is perfect

Really nice small hotel, very convenient for all the sites, very helpful and cheerful staff, can't understand review that complained about the breakfast, lovely cooked breakfast of the quality that you just do not get in larger hotels,on main road but adequately soundproofed ,no problem there, not large room but clean and adequately equipped, would happily stay here again

The location and rooms are ok, and the parking is good. However, the breakfast was to the most part substandard (2* really max), and for all that it wasn’t noticeably cheaper than other hotels which are much nicer (and offer nicer food!). It worked for what we required of it (a quick visit seeing family) but not for a long time stay.

Terrificant position of this hotel you sleep between a car park and a round about of a runway. Dont go dont sleep there. Try other solutions. Good breakfast clean but old fashion rooms. They need to be refurnished. I think all canterbury is in this situation. Better other solutions.
