Lovely old building handy for the sites in Ledbury. The room was in the old part of the building so quirky and quiet. Very comfortable bed and sweet little lounge on the first floor overlooking the street. The wood panelled dining room is beautiful and the cooking superb with a lovely waitress. The bar was bustling and very welcoming. Ledbury is a small interesting place with a very striking church well worth a visit. There are not many shops but they are mostly independents.

Pleasant overnight stay booked as a base whilst visiting relatives. Room was initially ‘sauna hot’ but the heating was easy to adjust. Room was clean and modern and good selection of toiletries provided. Only slight downside was breakfast. Not the best as bacon was soggy and poached eggs slightly hard, but that’s the only negative I can point out. A nice stay.

Great pub with lovely comfortable room, friendly staff. Breakfast in an amazing oak walled room. Will definitely stay again. Range of gins in the bar and cracking Indian 100 yards away, Sitara. Oh a filtered coffee in the bedroom was gorgeous.

We arrived at the Talbot for a one night stay, pre-paid, to find that the hotel had no record of our reservation. We expected a problem to ensue, but instead found that the manager immediately found a room available for us, let us know it was cheaper than what we had paid, and off we went to our comfortable room without even the slightest hassle.
The room was large, the bed comfortable, and the shower worked fine. For a one or two night stay, and good value, it’s a great little hotel. Don’t expect luxury, just comfort and friendliness, and you won’t be disappointed.
The pub area was busy that evening, and there was a lovely atmosphere.
