We've been to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard twice now have finally covered it all! The ship tours are the highlight (be sure to get an audio guide if available) but don't miss the harbor boat tour too. Be advised that the Mary Rose is not included in the ticket price, but is also well worth it. The price is a bit expensive, so look around online for discounts and coupons! Nice to pack a picnic lunch, but a cafeteria is also available.

You can see two old navy ships inside - HMS Victory and HMS Warrior. There are couple of other wreaked ships from world war 2. The view of the bay from the museum building is quite great.

We bought an annual pass and went twice and we still didn't do it all. The Victory with their excellent audio tour is worth the money on its own. However there many other things to see. We did The Warrior, battle of jutland and the harbour tour. There is plenty to and the varied activities will keep everyone entertained. Get the annual pass as there is too much to see in a day!

.. one being the Harbour Boat trip .. There are 4 sailings each day depending on the tide they last nearly an hour ..The boat being used at the moment is a large catamaran .. it has a wonderful friendly crew .. The Skipper gives a great commentary of all the Naval and none Naval sea traffic of which there is a lot .. this is a very busy port .. At the moment you can get close up to the new aircraft carrier .. There is a yearly ticket that can be purchased on entry and includes admission to the Spinnaker Tower which you can also visit as the vessel stop off at the Quays as part of the tour .. From the same departure point in the Historic Dockyard you can board another small boat to the Submarine attraction ..
