The room had a great view of the beach and the sea - you could watch the ships and see the South Parade Pier.

The room was spacious (and clean). The meals were delicious. The service was attentive but a bit random at times. They missed one of our starters. They produced a filter coffee instead of a double espresso but they were very pleasant and keen to please.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the sea

We booked a year in advance for our annual trip to the Victorious Festival.
The hotel had a small car park. We managed to find a space. Result.
We checked in early and left our bags in the cars until later.
We returned at 11.30 ish. The hotel was a perfect distance from the event. We had a few in the bar when we returned. It was a calm and friendly atmosphere. We carried on with a few more drinks until 1am ish.
The room was comfortable. The showers hot and refreshing. We had Coffee in the bar and set off for day two.
Again we had a couple before bed when we got in. The staff were lovely and helpful. We had a great stay and have booked again for next year.
The hotel is right on the
sea front. It is a beautiful location. Enjoy.

Lovely hotel. Staff could not be more helpful. Happy to assist in any way and accomodate whatever guests want. Room was comfortable. we had a sea view which was lovely but it was by the road so quite noisy.

A getaway from children and chores! Great staff from phoning to book a room to the moment we left.

Nice big twin room with side view of beach. Fabulous beds and a water dispenser outside the room.

We had an evening drink before going into dinner, again glorious staff. Breakfast was vast and very good value.

Arrived on August Bank Holiday Saturday and was delayed getting into our room due to guests attending the Victorious Festival the night before, staying beyond their check out time. This didn't leave housekeeping enough time to prepare the room. We were looked after while we waited. Further delay due to my error in requesting an accessible room where an e-mail previously had advised such a room was not available and I should have taken my own equipment. Despite my error, duty manager Antonio and the lovely Margaret, Head of Housekeeping, did their best to accommodate. We stayed in Queen Rooms with a Sea View on the second floor. Rooms were spacious and beds very comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Wi-Fi was very good. The hotel is right opposite the South Parade Pier which has a very nice fish & chip restaurant (Deep Blue). Buses run outside and you can catch a number 1 bus to the Gunwharf Designer Outlet Centre which is a 45 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride. Only consideration is parking. We were lucky enough to find a space right outside the front, but this is very limited (8 - 10 cars max). They have a larger car park behind the hotel, but it is very tight when parking. There is roadside parking nearby but this was busy / full due to the Victorious Festival. Overall a very good break and we definitely stay again when in Portsmouth visiting relatives. Thanks for a lovely break.

Room Tip: Queen Room, Sea View for an excellent view of the sea and pier,
