We stayed at Glen Cottage with our two retrievers for three nights from last Friday. A quint pretty cottage, well equipped, very clean, very quiet. The owner of the cottage, who met us at arrival, couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. Nice doggy walks straight away from the cottage and many more with easy access. We went to see Badminton Horse Trials and beautiful Cotswolds villages. Good old doggy friendly pubs. On the last evening, we had a dinner in the rocky terraced garden, which has a fantastic view of the valley. That was a bonus!

Dainty period windows and a beautiful tiered terraced garden look out over the rolling Cotswold hills. This gorgeous, comfy cottage was perfect for our weekend visiting friends and exploring the delights of Gloucestershire! Lazy walks through quaint villages and hidden woodland paths give way to a resfeshing tipple of the locally brewed ale. Evenings were spent relaxing in front of a romantic log fire sipping on wine (courtesy bottle of selected wine from the owner was a welcome treat!) The cottage was delightful and well-equiped (power-shower, dishwasher, wifi etc) with everything we needed to make our stay perfect!! I'd highly recommend Glen Cottage to friends visiting, wanting to discover the area.
