“Great Stay”
Reviewed 28 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Birch House suited our family very well. We were 5 adults, one 5 year old and a 16 month old. The house was clean, spacious, well equipped and had an excellent location to walk to the town and to drive to nearby attractions.

“Perfect holiday”

We went to Birch House with our family including 2 children under 4. House was exceptionally clean - bedding, towels, bathrooms, etc. Plenty of room for a large group so you are not under each other's feet! Having 3 bathrooms was a definite bonus! The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge freezer and washing machine/ dryer. It was also the perfect location to explore many other towns and villages. There are many places to take the children including play parks, a zoo and farm parks where you can spend the whole day. It's only 5 minutes walk into the market square where you will find it hard to choose where to eat as the restaurants/pubs all serve excellent food. I just wish we'd had more than one week as there were so many places to visit we didn't get to see them all. Fantastic, memorable holiday.

“Quiet and restful.”

The house is designed for holidays for extended family's. Lounge seats 8 comfortably with lots of games and baby toys. The kitchen table is great feature. I would give a 5 rating but for the following:
The toilets could do with a bit more bleach.
The kitchen floor requires a bit more cleaning effort.
Shower floors are showing a bit of mould.
I am not happy about having to sort other people's rubbish ready for rubbish day. It's unfortunate if you book rubbish week, you inherited the previous people's rubbish!
Otherwise VERY nice and definitely recommended.

“Lovely stay, lovely house, lovely town.”

Service provided was excellent. Property is spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm and very comfortable. Showers are excellent. House is perfect for 8 people. The location is excellent with a short walk to the beautiful town.
Plenty of parking and area is peaceful and quiet.
Everything to like and nothing of significance to dislike really. Wine glasses a little small!
We experienced a superb weekend with family ranging from 86 years old to 17 months.
Thank you!

“Home from home”
Reviewed 22 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Birch House last weekend. The house was very clean and very well equipped for every occasion. Very modern and high spec. Showers were great! Milk in the fridge, bread, tea coffee and biscuits were all very welcome on arrival.Other things in the cupboard such as herbs and spices etc.The house is just 5 minutes walk to shops, pubs and eating places. We had a superb lunch and cream tea at the old bakery cafe.We would definitely go back if thinking of coming this way again.
