Clair was an excellent guide as we toured around the Cotswolds looking at cottages.
Lots of thatched roofs and flower gardens... The Secret Cottage was darling and there were lots of treats - don’t eat breakfast and you won’t need dinner reservations afterwards. All local English cakes, tarts, cookies as well as meat pasties and other tea sandwiches.
The kitchen and living areas at the cottage were full of history. Built in the 16th century but updated living today, Polly our hostess spread an amazing table of traditional English goodies.
Our trip to the Cotswolds was greatly enhanced and more memorable because of this tour!
