Bristol Aero Collectlon

A very eclectic mix ranging from old fire engines, a bus, Concord and a Britannia, some nasty missiles and Rolls Royce engines. My granddaughter simply loved the double decker bus that we could sit on and also the Concord cabin. There was also plenty to interest my husband and son.

Run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers, who are very helpful and a bit quirky themselves.
Ideal place to take the kids on a rainy day, as there are many things to touch and play with
Collection includes military vehcles, buses, aircraft and missiles housed in a disused aircraft hangar.
The collection is best described and quirky.
There is a mock up of a Concorde, and a cockpit of aother plane.
A couple of interesting films were shown in the bus.
Word of warning, it was colder in the museum than outside, and one of the volunteers told me it is cold inside even in the summer!!
