Finally visited here today having heard about it through many friends. Both enjoying brunch menu items. The food was tasty, fresh and incredibly well presented. The bar area we sat in very cool, with it's dark leather, copper clash and ladder going up into bottles of spirits! Friendly and efficient staff. The only slight negative was that it felt a bit over-priced for the portion size received, but otherwise it gets the thumbs up!

Hi Emma,

I'm glad you enjoyed your time with us and liked the staff and bar.

The portion size is always a tricky one. We try and give people the best produce we can find which means sometimes we have to charge a little more. It's always something were trying to improve though, so thank you for the feed back. Can you tell me what you had to eat that day?

Kind regards
Jason

A beautiful restoration of the old fire station building that had been derelict for years has produced a stylish downstairs bar with light and airy dining upstairs and other spaces for private dining.

The old engine house has a very well stocked bar in a large space with the added advantage in summer of the large garage doors being opened to let in fresh air. Friendly staff and efficient service clearly make this a popular place to meet for a drink.

We found the food disappointing, however, with an uninspired, very meat based menu producing ok but expensive dishes and mean portion sizes. Go for a drink but check the menu before deciding if it is the place for you

An imaginative and stylish refurbishment of the original Cheltenham fire station, weith friendly staff and good food. We went for the 'bottomless brunch' last Sunday and really enjoyed it. It's the Bellinis and prosecco that are bottomless - not the food, but that's pretty substantial anyway. We had salt and pepper squid and spicy nduja followed by Avocado smash, lemon, chilli, poached eggs on sourdough toast and a full English breakfast - all cooked just as they should be. Recommended to wile away a lazy Sunday.

Very helpful staff that do go the extra mile to deliver a great service. Unfortunately I felt most of the food was a little less that excellent, but that could be down to personal taste.

The venue is light and airy. I had smashed avocado on sourdough bread with poached eggs accompanied by a glass of rioja. Delightful. Followed by pineapple carpaccio with coconut ice cream. A great lunch with excellent service.
