My Wife & I had a great stay in Bourton,Allison met us when we arrived & explained everything to us.This modern upstairs flat has all you need & is walking distance to centre of village, which allows you to park your car. We enjoyed our stay for two nights. Maybe the inclusion of a washer dryer would be good for people who are on the move as we were. (not being critical though)
Stayed for 3 nights. Wish it could have been longer. Outstanding accommodation with every facility you could possibly require for a self catering visit (along with quite a few extras and little touches not expected). Alison met us on arrival and couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly. The apartment itself is spacious, modern, light and airy with amazing views over the lake. Few mins walk to village centre with lots of nice cafes, restaurants and pubs. Some great tourist attractions also within a few minutes walk of accommodation ie Birdland (where you could easily spend a day) which was amazing, a brilliant Motoring Museum and a unique Model Village of Bourton itself. Can’t wait to go back for another visit. Very easy recommendation to post.
Nice little apartment in a great location for exploring the area. Very clean and well kept with kitchen basics for preparing meals. Truly enjoyed our stay.
My wife and I have just spent three days at The Lake House apartment, and what can I say. It is wonderful. The apartment is very clean and well equipped and the view over the lake is a joy to look out upon every morning. The addition of the local Heron and fishermen gives extra interest to the location. Bourton on the water is a lovely little village with plenty to offer, and just to walk around the village is a pleasure. Would we return to the lake house? You bet. In fact I am already looking to book for a full week in 2018.
Alison has worked hard to provide a tastefully decorated retreat that is so peaceful and calm...the lake is right outside your window with lovely views and even wildlife to greet you.
The bed is very comfy and the bath is spacious and sparkling clean. Big, fluffy towels await you after a refreshing shower. With all the windows and skylights, every room is bright and welcoming! The kitchen has top of the line appliances and Alison has thought of every detail if you want to cook. Or, if you want to dine out, you really are just a quick, sightseeing jaunt into the magical little village of Bourton on the Water...I love to buy fresh bread from the local bakery and you really can't beat the English cheeses and jams, I enjoy making my own meals...either way, the Lakehouse is the perfect choice...you won'the be disappointed!
