“Worth the visit”

Lovely cottage in an ideal location. Stayed with mum and our Dalmatian. Great area for visiting with the dog and visiting many of the tourist attractions. Would definitely book again.

“Home from home - cottage wraps itself around you”

Travelled with my wife, 15 year old niece and 5 year old granddaughter (in her words it was awesome). We were unlucky with the weather but we struck gold with the cottage. Usually when staying somewhere you can recommend improvements - I cannot think of any. From the moment we arrived (special treats for all in welcome basket) to the moment we left it was sheer bliss.

Special note for new guests - look out for the young bunny rabbit in the front garden - we were so lucky to be treated to this early one morning.

A very special place and we would not hesitate to go back or to recommend.

“4th stay - just keeps getting better.”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

It's tricky to continue to find adequate adjectives to praise this fantastic accomodation without repeating ourselves but this year we can comment on the fab new garden furniture, the improved kitchen (which we didn't even feel needed improving!) and the addition of free Wifi.
Jo continues to keep Tilly's at an extremely high standard. It's spotlessly clean (despite having doggy guests) and she provides every necessary convenience. Lovely welcome basket is much apppreciated, too!
As we visit every year, we feel settled and 'at home' within seconds of walking through the door. On our first visit we wondered whether, being as it was a terraced property, we may experience noise from the neighbouring cottages but we never have - very peaceful!
Although we're skipping a year next year (going abroad) we'll be back for 2016, 2017, 2018...............and so on!
HIGHLY recommend this property!

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed 15 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

A truly delightful cottage, we have rented cottages in the past, but this was undoubtably the best!
When we arrived, the cottage was spotlessly clean and although is dog-friendly, there was not a hint that dogs had ever been in it!
It was a lovely touch to have a welcome pack (wine, chocs and dog biscuits too) which were all enjoyed!
It had everything you could possibly want, we had a lovely week, thank you.

“HOME FROM HOME”

Tilly's cottage had everything in it you could possibly need. There was a welcome basket of biscuits and wine waiting for us on arrival which was lovely. The cottage was extremely clean and warm, with lashings of hot water. Everything was to a very high standard - the bathroom and kitchen in particular. The cottage is in a very quiet location, but only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of the village with its numerous restaurants and pubs. There is also a very well equipped Londis supermarket. The two parking spaces are easy to negotiate, and are tucked out of the way, round the back of the cottage. All in all, a very good experience and I would definitely book again.
