Excellent value meal for Sunday lunch, being vegetarian I enquired about the options for Sunday roast, and was told there was a nut roast and veggie gravy, which strangely is not shown on the menu (but really should be!). The whole meal was excellent, plentiful, the only downside was it was not very hot, but at around £10 a head, excellent value. Would definitely recommend.

Just back at our caravan at the Bourton on the Water caravan site having had a lovely relaxing meal at the Duke of Wellington. An above average meal with great service from a very young team who were a credit to there generation. Recommend to all ages if your in the village.

Was really looking forward to some drinks and an early dinner. Walked in at 16.30 and couldn't find a table for our group of 6. (We were well aware that kitchen closes at 17.00) Asked the barman if we could take a reserved table, which wouldn't be occupied till 19.00 anyway...and were rudely and totally dismissed...he said in a cocky way why we couldn't just find a space elsewhere...Well, we would have if we could! Don't care how good your food and drinks are, if your service is crap, I'm taking my custom elsewhere...and that's what we did!

Had a good meal here - pie and beer, gammon steak. Typical pub. Warm atmosphere with plenty of character. Good beer!

Went on a snowy freezing March night to be welcomed to a beautifully warm and cosy bar/restaurant. Very quiet, the service was efficient and friendly, and to have 2 vegan options on the menu was wonderful! Well done, and thank you!
