I couldnt recommend the Buckle at Seaford more highly, very attentive friendly owners Jason and Julie, ample off road parking, spotless luxurious rooms and bathrooms, delicious cooked breakfast selection and wide variety of drinks available 24/7 perfect location all rooms with fabulous close sea views, I could hear the waves from my balcony. I only stayed for two nights and wish I had longer to enjoy the serene, peaceful ambience of The Buckle. Highly recommend and would choose again over bustling Brighton as it is only a short walk to train and a ride away but Seaford benefits from uncrowded beach and stunning cliff top walks. I loved my stay here.

We returned yesterday from a fantastic two night stay at The Buckle. Fabulous location, such welcoming hosts and a stunning place to stay. Spotless, stylish and superb. The Buckle has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and is beautifully finished. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, lovely fresh food and plenty of it.
Run by a great couple who can’t do enough for you. Thank you for a great stay.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the Horizon room with balcony, spacious and stunning views.

We have just come back from stopping at this lovely B&B and having stopped at many 5* hotels etc all over the world this is a true gem of a place. Staying in the Captain's Quarters the cleanliness and attention to detail is first class and the hosts Jason and Julie were brilliant hosts. We enjoyed our chats over what was a really nice breakfast both mornings when we found out about the history of the Buckle and what it was originally used for. It was a long way to travel for us to get here however it was worth it and we know we would definitely come back in the future for another relaxing break. Thank you Jason and Julie !

Excellent we stayed in the captains quarters on two floors views of the sea so relaxing. Honesty bar a great idea. Comfortable clean and breakfast was lush. We stayed for special occasion was not disappointed. Also saw another room with little balcony looked lovely cosy need to try that next. Jason is hard working friendly makes you feel welcome. Lots of technology with tv heating heating etc.

Like many others we first heard about The Buckle (as a B&B) when it appeared on Channel 4's 'Four in a Bed'. It resonated immediately given we both lived in Seaford (too long ago to admit!) in our youth and remember The Buckle as a pub with a great position on the Esplanade. Today's Buckle is a modern reincarnation but still has that fantastic position looking out across the English Channel from rooms which are a step up from the usual B&Bs we frequent. Yes, it's a little more expensive but you get what you pay for and the premium here is well worth it and we can't wait to go back and relive our youth.
Seaford is often overlooked as a destination lying between Brighton and Eastbourne and fairly close to Newhaven. It is prime walking territory with Seaford Head and the Seven Sisters as the really popular walks. Thee are many others though and, given the incredibly efficient bus service along the coast, don't be afraid of looking at one way walks along the coast in either direction.
We also found a couple of excellent restaurants, namely the Grumpy Chef (he wasn't!) and Ollivers. Both first class and a credit to the town.
The Buckle is a gem - book quickly but please leave a space for us to visit again.

Room Tip: All the rooms have magnificent views and are very comfortable - you won't be disappointed.
