“Lovely apartment”

I recently stayed here with my husband, toddler and newborn baby and the apartment is just lovely. It had everything we needed, including a highchair and travel cot. I really couldn't fault it, the bed was so comfy with the softest sheets, as was the sofa, shower is nice and powerful, the kitchen is perfectly formed, it's got everything. The sun terrace is the best bit though, the view is incredible, we spent a lot of time there, especially in the evenings whilst the kids slept. It's also in a fabulous location- if you don't fancy walking far, the beach is directly in front of the building, across the road, but even down to the pier is just a lovely stroll along the promenade. James is a wonderful host and clearly very caring of his guests. I found him so helpful from the moment I first contacted him, right up until i checked out, he couldn't have done more. If I was to return to Brighton, I would definitely stay here again and I will always recommend this place. Thanks James!

“The Best View in Brighton”

Now you will be reading a lot no doubt about the new Brighton i360. It really is an impressive engineering feat and on a clear day you really can see for miles from the top (we did go on it). However the best view in Brighton is from this apartment's terrace. You have an unbroken view along the coast to the palace pier (and indeed on a clear day beyond to Brighton Marina) as well as the whole of Brighton laid out before you. From the other side of the apartment (from the kitchen window) you have views across Hove.

That's just the icing on the cake for this is the best apartment available to rent in Brighton. I feel I should either keep quiet about it or find reason to pick faults as by telling everyone how great this apartment is it makes it harder for us to rent it when we want to visit Brighton. However it wouldn't be fair on all of you (or on the owner James) not to tell you the truth. This is a surprisingly spacious apartment which comes with everything you need for a visit to Brighton. It is literally on the seafront (the beach is over the road), is surrounded by shops and cafe's and is a ten minute walk from the Laines and fifteen minutes from Palace Pier. The new i360 is about a five minute walk away. James is an excellent host who will ensure everything runs smoothly and the flat is well cared for and really does look like the pictures.

I have nothing to add but to say if you're staying in Brighton to stay here is about a half to a third of a price in the grand seafront hotels with at least twice the standard of accommodation. Don't think about it, just book it.

“Spectacular”
Reviewed 25 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

What a week. The apartment was beautiful. The views stunning. The windows to the bedroom and the lounge face east so you get the morning sun. Imagine, you are laying in bed and open the electronic blinds to let the sun in. The balcony is fabulous, just walk outside and sit or lay in the sun.
Not all days are sunny, but the views over the beach and towards the piers east and what is left of the west pier are great. It’s good just to sit and relax.
We had sea mist which passed by the building being so high up. The thunder storm out to sea at night was spectacular.
Being centrally placed plenty of good restaurants of every description are a short walk away or short cab ride.
A wonderful experience.

If you want to stay somewhere gorgeous in Brighton at a really reasonable rate this is for you. If you want 5 star book now! The terrace is amazing - sun til early afternoon. Overlooking the bandstand we watched a full on salsa class and various weddings. We also witnessed the naked bike ride! James, thank you for letting us experience your amazing apartment. Complete with balcony blankets!

“One word.... Incredible :)”

I stayed here for 3 nights with my partner for our anniversary. Booking was simple, the owner James got in touch right away and answered any questions we had and gave detailed directions to the apartment. We met James at the apartment when we arrived; he was absolutely charming, gave us a detailed overview of the apartment, the history, the area, any events going on, good places to eat, etc. He even kept us updated with any goings on during our stay. As it was our anniversary, he had also supplied a bottle of Fizz which was waiting on the balcony for us!

The apartment is stunning! The pictures do it complete justice. The view is incredible! With the city to your left and the beach to your right; it is breath taking. We even got to see 2 wedding ceremonies on the bandstand! Every thing supplied is in great condition. The bedroom is beautiful, with large windows facing out onto the balcony, giving you the view of the city / beach. A particularly great touch is the electric blinds! There was something ridiculously luxurious about lying in bed in the morning and using a remote to open them onto that fantastic view! When closed also, they offer a complete blackout (good for the hungover mornings). For how close you are to the city centre and hustle and bustle of Brighton, you wouldn't have known, there was no noise, it was utterly peaceful.

We loved the apartment so much, we did not venture out for dinner but stayed in and had take away's! I cannot recommend this place highly enough, everything about our stay was superb, from the start to the end. James was even kind enough to let us keep our luggage in the apartment for a couple of hours after we had checked out. I would honestly say if you are looking to explore Brighton, then I would book for a week plus as the apartment is that beautiful you will want to spend time there too. When it came to our departure time, I was tempted to hide in the wardrobe / handcuff myself to the balcony just so I could stay a bit longer!! :)
