Fancied a hot sandwich for dinner so popped into this empty Subway in Bartholomew Square by the Jury's inn waterfront hotel. Was overcharged for the footlong veggie patty I bought. Receipt stated a purchase of a chicken and bacon for £6.40.Did not bother going back as only 20 pence but made a claim for the free cookie with my feedback back to subway. There was no other customer in there. The sandwich maker said it was always quiet as hidden away up the street. I think the real reason is it's not very good. Cheese came out burnt, veggie patty was not hot, in one place it was so oven not evenly cooking food. Staff seemed miserable as if they were bored to work there. Would not go again. Went back for a cookie afterwards, different server but again no other customer in sight.
