“Grotty enterance, minute bedroom, too noisy to sleep”
Reviewed 1 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The kitchen and bathroom were modern and the sitting room was fine. But the entrance was depressing. The bedroom was minute such that the wardrobe could only be partially opened. The windows were dirty and did not keep out the traffic noise. Worse, there was the thump of music from within the building until the early hours of the morning. We moved out after one night and went to a hotel. The agent offered another apartment but we had already booked the hotel. The hotel cost was about £1,000. We have yet to receive the security deposit.

I'm so sorry that this elderly couple didn't enjoy their stay; the many other reviews show that everybody else has loved it and we work very hard to make every holiday here a wonderful stay. They seemed pleased with the apartment on arrival. As soon as I became aware that there was a problem I offered these guests another apartment in a quieter part of the city, but they immediately refused. The entrance of the building is a carpeted hallway with stairs to the apartment. The exterior of the windows are cleaned regularly but it is on the seafront so the weather can cause smears in between cleaning. This review was posted before the guest gave me the necessary information to return her deposit (which has now gone out to her). Deposits are usually returned by Holiday Lettings.

“Just what we needed!”
Reviewed 15 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Flat is lovely. To sit in the bay window and watch the world go by, the sea, pier and revellers was truly amazing. After a very stressful summer we needed a distraction! The flat has everything, and more, that you need. Very comfortable indeed and hopefully we will return. However, pack ear plugs cos the road outside is very busy and the windows aren't double glazed.

There was an event on Brighton Seafront during this stay which made it noisier than usual! The wooden sash windows are part of the Grade II listed structure of the building and so cannot be replaced with double glazing.

“Highly recommended!”
Reviewed 12 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

The flat was great, very clean and comfy. The complimentary bottle of bubbly and fresh milk in the fridge are very sweet extra touches you don't normally get and make staying here a little more special. Also the view is perfect! Katharine is very friendly and welcoming, all in all 10/10! We would definitely stay here again :)

“Excellent views ideal location”
Reviewed 7 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Couldn't ask for a better location. The view from the window is brilliant as is the apartment.
Really well thought out accommodation with the addition of your own parking space was just what we wanted. Would definitely recommend to friends & family considering the sussex coast as a holiday.

“great central location”
Reviewed 31 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Highly recommended, enjoyed our stay, apartment small but fine for the two of us, very well equipped and very central location, walking distance to all attractions, nice welcome from Jem and great recommendations for coffee shops/shopping etc. Nice touch; bottle of bubbly and milk in fridge on arrival. Big bonus having the parking permit. Many thanks
