“Our second visit - every bit as good as the first!”
Reviewed 3 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We had great weather which made this visit even better than the last. The Promenade offers very cosy accommodation, well equipped with all the home comforts and it is perfectly situated to enjoy magnificent sunsets, ocean views and great walks along the cliff-tops or promenade. Shops and facilities are within easy reach and the bus route is close for those without a car. The owner went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. What more can one say? It was another perfect week in a delightful environment.

“Very, very nice. Like a home away from home.”
Reviewed 14 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We booked this for 10 nights but stayed only 9 as we had an early flight back to the US and the Gatwick airport is a very long way to travel. One thing that should be mentioned in the advertisements. But the cottage is nicely accommodating, beautiful view of the sea and walking paths along the sea. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Just hard to get used to not being able to use curling irons or hair dryers in the bathrooms in England, so be prepared for that. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Reviewed 10 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The accomadation was excellent all you need to relax when you require that little bit of pampering. The views were stunning and the location was tranquil. We would recomend the promanade to anyone you wont be disappointed. We look forward to staying again. Dave & linda, Yorkshire. Gods country. But im not sure of that now, the promanade come a close second.

“Great cliff-top cottage with fabulous sea views”
Reviewed 23 July 2014 for a stay in June 2014

We stayed at The Promenade for 2 nights in June 2014 while catching up with friends who live in Brighton.

The Promenade was perfect for our stay and very well set up with all facilities, fabulous sea views and a welcome pack on arrival.

There's a popular cliff top walk in front of the cottage and the more adventurous can descend the almost 200 step to the sea wall and walk along the bottom of the spectacular chalk cliffs before getting back via steps or a steep road.

Brighton is an easy drive away and there's a great ASDA supermarket at Brighton Marina which has plenty of free parking (unlike the rest of Brighton!).

Highly recommended for those looking for a peaceful cottage with great views close to Brighton and the surrounding attractions, of which there are many.
