Our overall holiday to Bournemouth was very enjoyable. We went on the 24th of June during a heat wave in the UK which we were very lucky for.

We booked our buyagift voucher for a 2 night stay in Bournemouth and we were told they had no standard rooms left and we had to pay £40 (£20 per night) to upgrade to superior room. The room was decent, and had all the facilities we needed (hairdryer, fan, flatscreen TV, good space). The issue was that the room looked a little dated and it could’ve done with some fresh ideas, despite it being an old building. It would have also been nice to have air con in the room

The breakfast included in the stay was nice, one of the highlights in fact. The only issue is that the eggs were not brought out quickly enough, but when they did come out they were very nice, along with the rest of the hot breakfast. They also offered continental which included cereal and pastries which were nice.

The maids did a basic job of cleaning the room. Changing sheets on beds and bins, but not going the extra mile to clean stuff on floors.

There is NO FREE PARKING at the hotel, despite what’s advertised. There is a small car park round the back which you can pay £10 for (if you can get a space). If not, I parked in the car park opposite for £10 a day.

24 hour reception was useful to have

Bournemouth was a great venue.

Stay for two nights. Location is great with easy access to beach, only 5 min. Room was very clean and well equipped. Reception staff greeted us with a nice smile, always friendly and helpful.
Nice breakfast and attentive service.
Definitely, we will come back again soon.
Thank you for make our stay memorable.

I'm not sure why a Hotel would advertise a stay on Groupon, let somebody pay for it then say they cannot use a voucher to use it... criminal comes to mind, then offer no reasonable answers to why its still available on Groupon, it actually was my first experience using Groupon to which I can safely say it will be my last
