Three generations stayed here and it was spacious enough for everyone so that we didn't feel on top of each other.
The garden was fantastic, really big for our two year old to play in, sometimes she said she'd rather play in garden than go to the sandy beach near by!
The house is a fine base, dated, wasn't sparkly clean on our arrival, kitchen was fine but lacked some equipment.
Bring duvet covers, pillow cases, sheets and towels with you.
No DVD player, just an old VHS player.
We squeezed 3 cars onto the drive.
Great porch for buggys and sandy shoes.
The house is lovely with everything you could wish for. It is situated in a quiet road and is only yards away from the beautiful Southbourne sandy beach and a stroll to the wonderful Hengistbury Head.
We would definitely stay there again.

I stayed in September with my wife and daughter. The house is very comfortable and virtually everything has been thought. It's child friendly and the garden's lovely.
Its a minutes walk to the sandy beach which was pretty quiet while we were there. Its a short walk to the carpark to start the walk over Hengistbury head. Which is a really nice walk to the spit with the ridiculously expensive beach huts. You can always get the little train back to the car park if you get too tired for the return leg.
It's about half an hour walk to Christchurch were we had a great meal at Pinocchio's and went to the Thomas Tripp which has nice beer from Ringwood brewery.
The decor is not very modern but everything works well. The kitchen looks new and it's has everything you need to cook meals. Perfect house for a relaxing beach holiday with lots to do nearby. We would definitely book it again.
