This was my second stay at this hotel and would return again. The hotel is in a great location right by the beach and the town and is ideal even if you dont have a car to get out and visit the Bournemouth area. The rooms are spacious and clean and tidy and have all the facilities that you need. You don't have much of an outside area but you would expect this being so close to the Town Centre and it was not a problem. If you like your cocktails they have a great bar with fantastic bar staff who will not only make you a cocktail from the vast menu - they will make one up for you! The breakfast is great and makes a lovely change to be served with your hot breakfast rather than a buffet. Would recommend absolutely.
One recommendation I would make however from my last visit would be to be mindful that the bar gets very busy at weekends and as such some rooms can be a bit noisy. This was not an issue this time as we did not go at a weekend

Nice hotel, located centrally between beach and town centre.
I had a double room which was quite small. Nicely decorated all facilities needed in room; iron / ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer toiletries in bathroom, magazines.
Hotel in general very nicely decorated (if red is your thing).
Reception staff outstanding, very helpful very professional and friendly as were bar staff and morning breakfast staff.
Few minutes walk to beach and town.
Disabled parking out front of hotel. (I did have a little trouble finding the parking but it's a small turn right in front of main entrance.
Breakfast was lovely full English and vegetarian option, also continental breakfast.
Only grumbles were;
Bed was rock hard, pillows too soft to the point felt like I wasn't lying on one and I had four, this made my stay extremely unpleasant as kept tossing and turning, trying to plump up pillows, woke with cricked neck and backache, after a long drive to Bournemouth all you want at the end of the day is a nice comfortable bed to sleep in ☹️
Bath tub was dirty has grime stains which wasn't pleasant, these two grumbles where the reason I've not given four stars.

This hotel is in an ideal location for a visit to Bournemouth. It's an old building so you have to forgive the creaky floorboards! The staff are good and the breakfast exceptional. Free parking is a bonus. I would definitely recommend.
