Nice hotel. My room was fairly large and had a desk, chairs and a bath. My room faced the rear and didn't have a sea view. The room and the hotel were generally very clean. The reason that I have given 3 stars is first because of the reception staff. My trip was paid for by work, and this included parking, dinner and breakfast. There was some confusion on arrival and checkout, and the staff did try to charge me for all of the above. I needed a VAT receipt and this seemed quite difficult for the reception to issue, so much so that I left without it. The car park is quite small and spaces were tight. I had to carry out a 7 point manoeuvre just to get out of the space. I would stay here again but not if I need to pay for it myself. The gardens at the front of the hotel can attract some of the local alcoholics.

Having paid for a very expensive room I have been told there is no wifi unless you join their rewards program. Really? In 2021?

The staff have been ok but to insist on joining a rewards program is so intrusive. And with a bad phone signal in this area I am shut off from the Internet. I shall not stay here again…

For a 4 star hotel I was very surprised to be charged £3 per hour to park my car especially as there was no security or barriers. Also surprised to not have a bottle of water supplied beside the bed. Room and amenities good and clean.

My husband and I have just returned from a two night stay at the marriot in Bournemouth.we paid the extra for a superior room with a sea view In hope of a luxurious treat,unfortunately the room was very disappointing!The carpet was very old and dirty,lots of dust everywhere,the tv was damaged and affected the viewing,hotel phone broken.The bathroom was so old and had no grout left at all in between floor tiles,bath disgusting and lots of stains.Room service breakfast was delivered 30 minutes late and only one cooked breakfast when we ordered two!! Best thing going for the room was the view

I have read some of the negative views, but a recent stay was faultless. Fantastic, clean hotel in a stunning location. All staff were attentive and service great. Breakfast and evening meals were delicious... Will definitely return, a great stay.

Room tip: Sea view rooms have great views.
