We stopped here last minute after deciding to extend our stay in Bournemouth. First of all, the location is excellent for the pier/beach etc, as well as the shops. Our room was not quite ready when we arrived, but we were made to feel welcome whilst we waited. The room was tidy and had a lovely sea view, which was unexpected. The pool is very nice for a dip on a hot day and the overall layout of the hotel is good. The staff are very attentive and made a fuss of our kids and the breakfast was fantastic. Would stay again.

Room tip: Good car park available. Book direct to avoid extra £10 charge.

The hotel is located right next to the beach, good buffet breakfast and a nice room for a decent price. Reception was also extremely helpful with any requests I had and they went above and beyond. Definitely recommend

Stayed here recently with my family in a sea view room. View was lovely from the room. Room was a very good size, very clean and spacious. We had a iorn, iorning board, 2 hair dryers and tea/coffe making facilities. We were very impressed by the room, only thing that let it down that there was no air con and it is currently 30 degrees outside. Room did have a small table fan.
We were very disappointed with the breakfast options an would not recommend this to anyone. I also noticed people putting there towels on the sunbeds by the pool, just to reserve. Which meant we couldn’t get sunbeds.
I think staff should remove the towels after a certain amount of time.?
This hotel would be perfect on a day when air con is not needed. Booked directly with the hotel and didn’t need to pay parking.

Dear Global06888448798,
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review.
I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us for the most part.
I am sorry that you felt breakfast was disappointing. We offer 7 cereals, porridge, fresh fruit salad, prunes, grapefruit, croissants, pain au chocloate, yoghurt, toast, juices, tea and coffee, plus 8 items on our cooked breakfast buffet with vegetarian sausages on request. We also change a couple of items daily to give everyone choice, so normally you will find mushrooms and hash browns one day and fried bread and black pudding on another day.
We do have notices up saying people are not allowed to reserve sunbeds and we have on several days removed peoples pool towels. This is also in the bedroom compendium. On some days the managers are busy with other things and this may get missed from time to time, but we do try our best.
Air conditioning is something we have planned for the future but not as easy in older buildings in a conservation area.
Please know that feedback such as yours is important to us to help us improve our offering.
We hope to be able to welcome you again in the not so distant future.
Kind regards
Rosie Radwell

We stayed Friday 16th July to Sunday 18th, had a good 3 hour drive from South Wales and arrived at the hotel for 9:30am, even though we couldn’t check in until 3pm the staff still provided us with towels so we could use the pool facility, the same when checking out on Sunday @ 11am we were still allowed to use the hotel and pool facilities until we were ready to drive home. The pool itself was perfect considering the weather, the pool has a pool side bar with drinks and ice cream however this was not open as much as it could have been meaning you would have to go to the hotel bar for food and drinks, pretty poor network coverage by the pool and the hotel WiFi wasn’t much better either. Staff were very friendly throughout and were always happy to help whenever asked. Location of the hotel is perfect, 10 min walk to the beach and about the same to the town. Rooms were not great, we stayed in 130, accepted we had the last room available for the dates so weren’t expecting to much, by this part of the hotel is a lot hotter than the other area’s so you had to sleep with the fan on which made quite a racket, a fridge was also provided but this was stored on top of a dresser table, again the fridge was very noisy so I didn’t have a good night sleep at all. All in all, considering the pool facilities, the staff and the location of the hotel I would probably stay here again, would maybe look to pay more for a better room.
