The defining feature of Cote is, in our view, the consistently high standards of food and service. We have visited the relatively new Cote in Bournemouth twice recently and both visits were a joy. An attractive conversion of former shop premises in the centre of town where they have created a really nice place to meet and eat. The decor design is of course similar to other Cote restaurants but never boring because it is applied to different building interiors. As alway spotlessly clean and well prepared.

First class levels of service with a very friendly welcome and attentive and knowledgeable waiting staff. We had an early supper at 4pm and wondered, after a busy Easter Sunday lunch period, whether the service might suffer, but not a bit of it. Everything clean, welcoming and well organised. The consistently high quality of the food at Cote is remarkable and the Bournemouth branch is no exception. The Breton half chicken weekend special was very tender and tasty.

Well done again Cote. Highly recommended.

Thank Jon L

The recently opened Cote Restaurant in Westover Road Bournemouth (old Austin Reed premises) offers great food at a surprisingly low price. There is a good selection of dishes all well prepared and served by very pleasant, friendly staff. With 2 courses for £10.95 and 3 courses for £13.95 during the day and a central location, it is an ideal venue for lunch when out shopping. We have visited about 5 times now and have never been disappointed. We have also visited the Salisbury and Bath restaurants and found them just as good.

I came here with my fiance for an anniversary dinner, staff were friendly and food was nice however soon after i got home i was violently ill all night. The only thing I ate different to my fiance was the main course which was rare duck (which i asked for well done) and so I question the hygeine standards of this restraunt. Also, saw kitchen staff taking out bins half way through our meal and dumping it in the street.
