“was ok”
Reviewed 29 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

the apartment was clean and tidy, bed was very comfortable, Was close to the town but a bit of a hill to get back, sofas were comfortable to sit on for a couple of hours to watch tv, kitchen was a little on the small side as was the shower cubicle, in my opinion the bedroom could have been smaller to extend bathroom and have a bath with overhead shower, water pressure was pretty bad in shower, took me 1/2hr to rinse my hair, I believe it would have benefited from a new hose fitting though. It is a little outdated with an immersion heater and the central heating had no control so you would have to have it at the temperature the owners decided to have it

“AVERAGE FLAT BUT VERY NEAR TO BEACH AND TOWN”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Good Place to dwell in. Very Near to the beach although on a hill so a bit of a trek on way back to flat.We had bit of misunderstanding intitally as our flat was alloted to someone else, albeit we were given a bigger and better flat later. Our sofa cum bed was broken but was replaced half way through. Shower had a blockage too.
watchouts- Pay as you go electric meter (not included in the rent), Cuttlery-very basic and ordinary.Very lovely garden and communal areas along with ample car parking. No toiletteries provided (which was a surpise to me, not even the basic ones ie shampoo etc)

Management Response
23 Oct 2015
Your input has been noted I would like to respond by firstly apologising for the broken sofa bed however this was replaced immediately as the issue was raised with a newer larger queen size sofa bed. Also apologies for the miscommunication in bookings we hoped you had been happy with the larger flat with garden views for the same price which was actually my daughters own personal accomdation. I'd like to say the flat is far from average it has a brand new showeroom fitted and a newly decorated bedroom. The lounge/ dining room is mere 27 ft by 17 ft! So is hardly a small space with 12 ft Victorian ceilings ornate Victorian coving, marble fire place and Wilton carpets all for 410 a week in peak season. It states in the adverts that there are electric metres and they do not use a vast quantity of coins, the cutlery is from marks and Spencer's so I'm confused as to why it is ordinary but I'll take it onboard. The apartments are listed as self catering this generally means providing your own toiletries, linen and towels are provided aswell as basic cleaning equipment, tea, coffee milk and sugar. For the price for 4 people to stay the apartment was fantastic value during peak season sorry that it did not meet your standards.

We stayed for a week in June with perfect weather to go with this perfect apartment. The owners were so helpful and friendly with welcoming us and letting us stay in their gorgeous Victorian home. The flat was warm and inviting and very clean and spacious. Such a comfortable bed with is always nice away from home.
The gardens were nothing short of stunning a lovely area to soak up the sun and take in the quietness of the area, The location was just perfect, so close to the town and the sea was literally less than a 5 min walk. Also close to small shops as well a local bakery and butchers was nice to have so close.
Other local charms were lovely restaurants on the sea front and a local pub which has just been refurbished and was gorgeous ( The Chelston Manor).
Overall we loved our stay and will be coming back for sure. Would highly reccomend.
