This bust is OK, but not a great work of art. It was messed up by bird droppings on the day I visited. It is not clear why it is sited on this spot and it appears just one of the ways in which Torquay is trying capitalise on its link to the famous author. With much of the town fairly run down, though, I suppose they have to have something to bring in the tourists...

It was fun following the route and seeing who would be first to spot the item to do with Agatha Christie. We ended up at the Imperial Hotel which I would also recommend for a drink.

More could be made of this walk for Agatha Christie fans. not enough factual information at each point to make it historically interesting enough.

We felt that the bust of Agatha Christie would have been better placed, maybe in the beautiful pavilion garden and not on the grass in Palk street which is surrounded with recycling bins.

We did this walk back in November but we did it again today in beautiful spring weather and throughly enjoyed it. The walk is litter free and as long as you're not in a rush it's a pleasurable experience

A lot more walking up hills than anticipated and we were not warned about little information at each of the sites except the museum a Bit dissapointing really.
